A website for an accounting firm: 7 elements that bring in clients
How to build an accounting firm website that brings in inquiries: an offer, a pricing calculator, a KSeF guide, secure documents, reviews and local SEO.
A client usually looks for an accounting firm with a specific problem: they are starting a business, changing accountants or don’t know what to do about new obligations. They visit several websites and pick the one that answers their questions quickly. So a website for an accounting firm is above all meant to build trust and make contact easy.
Below I describe 7 elements that, in my view, help the most in turning visitors into inquiries. Some of them are especially timely ahead of KSeF (Krajowy System e-Faktur, Poland’s national e-invoicing system) reaching the smallest businesses. This text is not legal or tax advice, and the situation described is as of the publication date, 28 October 2026.
1. A clear offer on the first screen
A visitor should know within seconds who you help and with what. “An accounting firm in Giżycko for sole proprietorships and companies” says more than “Comprehensive accounting services”. Below it, add a button with your phone number and a second one with a form.
It is worth showing right away which situations clients come to you with:
- starting a business and choosing a form of taxation,
- accounting for JDG (jednoosobowa działalność gospodarcza, a sole proprietorship), companies and foundations,
- HR and payroll,
- taking over the books from a previous firm.
Each item can be a separate subpage with a specific description. This also helps in search, because every service matches a different phrase.
2. A pricing calculator for your services
The client’s first question is usually: “how much does it cost?”. If the website has no answer at all, some people will simply close the tab. Instead of a rigid price list you can offer a simple calculator where the client picks a form of business, the number of documents per month and additional services.
The calculator doesn’t have to give a final amount. It can show a range and collect data for a quote. That way you get an inquiry with complete information, not a message saying “please send me an offer”. I build such solutions as part of the calculators and configurators service, from PLN 1,900 net.
3. A KSeF guide on the website
KSeF, the national e-invoicing system, is a topic that has occupied small business owners in recent months. Since 1 February 2026, all businesses receive invoices in KSeF, and the largest ones (sales above PLN 200 million in 2024) issue them there. Since 1 April 2026 the obligation has covered the other businesses, including those exempt from VAT, when they issue invoices to other businesses. Until the end of 2026, businesses whose invoiced sales do not exceed PLN 10,000 gross per month may still invoice outside KSeF, and from 1 January 2027 this exception disappears. Invoices for consumers can be issued in KSeF voluntarily. Under the law currently in force, penalties for KSeF errors also begin on 1 January 2027, but on 20 October 2026 the Council of Ministers adopted a bill that extends the penalty-free period to 31 December 2027. The bill still has to pass through parliament, so check the Ministry of Finance announcements before putting dates on your website.
A good KSeF guide for an accounting firm’s clients answers the questions people actually ask:
- Does it apply to me?
- What do I have to do before 1 January 2027?
- How will I issue and receive invoices?
- What will the firm do for me, and what stays on my side?
- Whom do I call when something doesn’t work?
Write in plain language and mark the date of the last update. Regulations change, and an outdated guide does more harm than none at all. If you also run an online store, see my guide on KSeF in an online store.
4. Secure document transfer
Invoices, contracts and payroll lists contain personal and financial data. Sending them by ordinary email is convenient but not very secure: a message can be forwarded and a mailbox taken over. It is worth showing on your website that you have a better way.
You can offer:
- a form with file upload on the website, over an encrypted connection,
- a client account in the accounting system,
- clear instructions on which documents not to send by ordinary mail.
A form needs protection against spam and malicious files. I write about that in the guide on a contact form without spam. The data of an accounting firm’s clients is also a GDPR (RODO) matter, so it is worth consulting a lawyer or a data protection officer on your arrangements.
5. Reviews and trust signals
An accountant is trusted with sensitive matters, so trust matters more here than in many other industries. Show what you can document:
- Google reviews with the first name and the initial of the surname, and information about where they come from,
- a photo and a short bio of the person the client will work with,
- liability insurance (OC, ubezpieczenie odpowiedzialności cywilnej), mandatory for providing bookkeeping services, and qualifications, for example an accountant’s certificate (certyfikat księgowy), if you have one,
- industries you serve day to day.
Don’t make up numbers or buy reviews. How to collect them within the rules, I described in the guide on how to get Google reviews.
6. Local SEO and Google Business Profile
Many of an accounting firm’s clients look for someone in their area: “accounting firm Olsztyn”, “accountant Giżycko”. That is why you need a complete Google Business Profile and a website that says clearly where you operate. Put the city and the surrounding area in the text, but naturally, without repeating the same phrase in every sentence.
Put on the website:
- address, hours and phone number matching your profile,
- a map with directions,
- answers to questions in the form of an FAQ,
- subpages for services, not one long page.
If you want to start with the profile, I will complete your Google Business Profile. You can check the condition of your own website for free with the Check your website tool.
7. A form and a phone number you can use with one thumb
With accounting, many people call, but some prefer to write. Offer both and make sure they work on a phone:
- a click-to-call number in the header and at the bottom of the page,
- a short form with a name, phone or email and a field for the question,
- information on when you will reply, for example “by the end of the next business day”,
- tracking of inquiries in GA4, so you know where they came from.
Without tracking, you can’t tell which element of the website works. Analytics setup is from PLN 990 net, if you need help.
Which website to choose
If you are just starting out, you can begin with a simpler solution and expand it over time. In the table below I compare three routes.
| Solution | Who it is for | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Free builder | a simple business card site: 4 subpages, offer, contact | free (the footer carries the credit “Wykonanie: RobimyWeb”, i.e. “Built by RobimyWeb”), you pay for the domain and hosting |
| Starter website | a quick start on a ready-made theme | from PLN 1,490 net |
| Turnkey business website | a custom design, an editing panel, guides and service subpages | from PLN 4,900 net |
A website from the builder has no price calculator and no editing panel (CMS), so for an extensive offer it is better to choose a custom website.
Summary
A good accounting firm website answers the client’s questions, shows the price, explains new obligations and offers a secure way to send documents. Start with the offer, contact details and your Google Business Profile, then add the calculator and a KSeF guide. Remember that content about regulations has to be kept up to date.

Frequently asked questions
A Starter website starts at PLN 1,490 net, and a turnkey business website with a custom design and an editing panel from PLN 4,900 net. A pricing calculator for your services is added separately, from PLN 1,900 net. You will get an exact quote within 24 hours of your inquiry.
Yes, and it usually pays off, because the client decides to get in touch faster. A range and a list of the factors that affect the price are enough, for example the form of taxation, the number of documents and whether the company has employees. You give the exact amount after a short conversation.
It attracts people looking for an answer to a specific question, and they are often future clients. A guide also shows that you know the subject. I don’t promise specific results, because they depend on the competition in your city.
To start, yes, if you need a simple business card site with an offer and contact details. The RobimyWeb builder prepares website files with 4 subpages, but the finished website has no pricing calculator and no panel for editing it yourself. If you want an expanded offer, guides and a calculator, a custom website will be a better fit.
Instead of ordinary email, it is better to use a form on the website with secure file upload or an accounting system with access to the client’s account. It matters that the connection is encrypted and that only authorized people have access. Clients’ personal data is also a matter under the GDPR (RODO), so it is worth getting advice on it.
